I still got about 1 month left in NCS. And currently, i'm hoping for my pay to arrive as soon as possible. This month i had overspent again. OMG~!!!

Topic : Boring Saturday~!

Oh ya, another one of NCS delicious meal : Claypot Rice with chicken meat

Photobucket

Close-up

Photobucket

Yesterday, I went to Yishun polyclinic. The waiting queue was quite long and slow.

I told the doctor about my face, legs and hands. She said my legs and hands are affected by eczma rashes. And she said my skin is very dry. But then again, I do try my best to apply moisturizers on my hands and legs before sleep.

She advised me to drink more water and eat more fruits. Get sufficient vitamin C and E. Since i got many scars on my legs and hands already.

As for my face, she said my face peel is because of dryness. It might be caused by the dramatic hot weather. Or maybe surrounding environment like dust. It might also be caused by sweat since i feel itchness. May also due to food allergy. So, i must take note of what i eat next time. She was asking if my job stressful and tired. -_-''' And she suggested me to get a moisturizer with SPF. Because I face long hours in front of computer. The light reflected to our skin prolong will caused damages to our skin. Sometimes, going out with naked face also not good. Because harmful rays might shine at us without knowing.

So i decided to find a sunblock with decent SPF that is oil free and also a good makeup remover too. So that, the sunblock will be totally removed from my face when i get home since most of the sunblock are waterproof. *Play Safe* I will also use cleanser to cleanse my face too. *Double action cleansing* To prevent clogged pores. We must always allow our skin to breathe. Will be buying those cleansing wipes too. Am i very kiasu? =X

Being girl is really very troublesome........

As my skin is very sensitive, i need to take more care. =(

At first, docter asked me to try medication. But i told her i try many type of medicines. But none effective. So i ask her to refer me to a skin doctor. Then she said okay.

Sadly, National skin center dont open on weekend. So i need to go on weekday. So i suggested that i want my appointment to be on july. Moreover, i'm going to be jobless on july. And find new job. So mine as well take the opportunity to see skin doctor, hopefully my skin will get some improvement.

Luckily, my first appointment with National Skin Center is at July 1st 2pm. I think i should find a temporary job first hor? After my skin condition better, when i don't need to keep go national skin center till then I start find perm job. Agree bo?

After seeing doctor, I went a mini shopping alone at Woodlands Causeway Point to get moisturizer, sunblock and masks. Actually i do have alot of these skincare stuffs, just that my skin need to keep change brand and alternate switch usage to see the effect of the products. Keep using the same product, at first i see the effect later on no effect le. Just like medicine, i keep changing my skin medicine last time. I'm a weirdo.

I'm a big sucker for skincare stuffs too.

Okay, talk about my mini shopping.
Just a mini shopping, I spent a bomb. But actually, i still got more stuffs to buy. Maybe I should do more research, read more beauty reviews before deciding on buying them. Like this sounds better right? XD

My buys for the day:
(These products are highly raves.....So kiasu me, die die must buy and try too !!!)

Photobucket

I bought 3 good products from 3 good stores at METRO.

1. CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Extra Extended Thirsty Skin Relief Set

Photobucket

http://www.clinique.com/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY21603&PRODUCT_ID=PROD13291

Photobucket

Uhmm that small green box is CLINIQUE Superdefense Triple Action Moisturizer sample. SA gives me for free to try.

I love CLINIQUE products. I'm interested in their 3 steps set too. =)

2. CLARINS UV Plus HP SPF 40 PA+++

Photobucket

http://www.clarins.com.sg/whats_new_product_details.php?id=24

This sunblock is oil free. Able to apply on face and neck but i think it's better to avoid apply on eyes and lip areas. So, I think it's better to get eye cream with SPF too. Since eye areas is very delicate. I think i still need to find sunblock for my body too.

I love CLARINS product. I feel like buying their fragance once mine finished. =)

3. SHISEIDO Purifying Mask

Photobucket

http://www.shiseido.co.jp/e/theskincare/products/pro16.htm

A deep-cleansing, rinse-off facial mask formulated with Marine Mineral Clay to combat dullness and rid pores of impurities. Skin is left visibly refined and refreshed, revealing a radiant complexion for a more youthful appearance.

A wonderful product to restore skin to its natural radiance. Containing Eucalyptus Oil this mask imparts a refreshing and cooling sensation to the skin.

The mask also features an aromachology-based scent that relaxes mind and body. After washing off the mask skin is left feeling soft and smooth.

Can be used by all skin types of any age. Apply to clean skin once or twice a week. Smooth a generous amount over face evenly avoiding eyebrows, hairline, eye and mouth areas. Leave on 5 minutes and rinse off thoroughly. After use, balance and moisturize the skin. Because deep cleansing somehow will dry skin. I suggest after using this purifying mask, next use deep hydrating mask or apply clinique moisture surge extra over the face.

I love SHISEIDO product. I might consider buying Moisture Relaxing Mask too. =)

I got a voucher. Another excuse for me to go shopping again.

Photobucket

My next targets:

- Cap
- Sunglasses
- More MASKssssss
- More beauty stuffs
- Nice bag
- Nice shoe or sandal
- Nice jacket or cardigan
- Pretty clothes
- New fragance

- New digital watch

* List keep going on and on......will be adding more to list again * ---> Will post more detailed one in future post

Maybe, I should start up a shopping list. I believe my list will go on and on...

But I know I am a greedy person. I will try to fulfil and satisfy my needs. LOL~

One greatest new is yesterday 23 May 2008, the official start of Great Singapore Sale.

Imagine day 1 of GSS, I already spent a bomb. How am i going survive the next few weeks. LoL~

Money money money please drop from the sky $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

And did i see wrongly? Yishun miraclely rain today. I'm amazed.

Topic : Benefits Of Yogurt

- Eating yogurt everday is very healthy for the body. For those looking to supplement their protein, calcium and dairy, yogart is a healthy choice. -

The health benefits of yogurt have been cited for centuries, but many people still don't realize just how valuable yogurt can be to living a healthy lifestyle. Yogurt can actually benefit your health in a variety of ways, and it should definitely be added to your shopping list the next time you head out to the grocery store.

The most outstanding benefit of yogurt comes right from the unique way yogurt is made. Yogurt is simply milk or cream that is cultured with active live cultures. These cultures are the key to many of yogurt's health benefits. Active live cultures are basically good bacteria that are necessary for the body to function at its best. These good bacteria prevent the growth of harmful bacteria that cause bacterial infections and diseases. Healthy levels of good bacteria also promote digestive health and boost the immune system. Good bacteria prevent imbalances in the body's yeast levels, which can prevent various types of yeast infections. It has been shown that good bacteria can also prevent urinary tract infections. If you are taking antibiotics, they may be destroying the good bacteria present in your body. Eating yogurt regularly can help restore your good bacteria levels. Active live cultures actually reduce yogurt's level of lactose, making yogurt a delicious dairy alternative for anyone who is lactose intolerant.

Since yogurt is made from dairy products, it is very high in calcium, which is highly beneficial for bone and teeth health. Calcium is especially important for those seeking to prevent bone density loss and osteoporosis. Healthy levels of calcium can also encourage the body to maintain and lose weight.

Yogurt is also a good source of protein, which helps give the body energy to keep you going throughout the day. Protein is an essential building block for many systems in the body, including your muscles. Protein is also good for curbing your appetite and helping you feel full for a longer period of time.

Yogurt can be incorporated into your diet in a variety of ways. By adding fruit, berries, granola, nuts, or chocolate candies to your yogurt, you can turn it into a delicious replacement for your usual dessert. You can also substitute yogurt for milk in many recipes for foods like pancakes, waffles, and even pumpkin pie.

When buying yogurt, the more natural the product is, the more beneficial it will be to your health. Organic yogurt is best. Look for yogurt that is low in sugar and without added trans fat or high fructose corn syrup. If you are on a low-fat diet: many brands of yogurt come in low-fat or no-fat versions. Always check the levels of active live cultures in your yogurt. The more active live cultures there are present in your yogurt, the more benefits you will receive from them. Keep in mind that yogurt should be made with pasteurized milk or cream, but any pasteurizing done after the culturing process can kill the active live cultures and keep you from reaping their benefits.

Topic : What is a Good Facial Care Regimen?

Skin is the largest organ of our body and therefore requires attention in order to ensure its continuous health as we age. Our facial skin needs extra care since it is the part of our body that is always exposed to damaging effects such as the weather, sunlight and pollution. For women, daily makeup is another factor that adds to skin damage in the long run.

While many men and women know the basics of facial care, not all commit to a proper daily regimen. Even fewer realize the additional recommended habits of a good facial care regimen. A daily facial care regimen follows four simple steps:

Step One: Steaming

The first step in facial care is steaming. Steaming helps soften facial skin and open up pores for deeper cleansing. Use a facial steamer or simply soak a facial washcloth into a bowl of warm water. Squeeze the warm cloth lightly and place it against your face and neck. Dab and press gently for one to two minutes.

Step Two: Cleansing

Once pores become fully open, proceed to the second step in facial care - cleansing. Facial cleansers come in many varieties such as creams, milk, gel and foam. Buy one that suits your skin type. Avoid cleansers that contain alcohol as this element dries out your skin. Press the recommended amount onto your palm and lather it up with warm water. In an upward circular motion, massage
the cleanser gently on your face and neck for 30 to 40 seconds. Rinse your face and neck completely and pat them dry with a face towel.

Step Three: Toning

This third step in facial care is necessary to clean up any dirt or grime that you did not manage to catch in the second step. Toner is also used to remove any residue from the facial cleanser that you may not have rinsed out properly. Pour out the indicated amount onto a facial cotton wool
or pad. Wipe your face and neck carefully. As with the cleanser, use an alcohol-free toner to prevent your skin from drying.

Step Four: Moisturizing

A good facial care regimen includes moisturizing your face and neck to keep skin sufficiently hydrated. Always use a moisturizer that is suitable for your skin type. The right moisturizer not only leaves your skin soft and supple, but also assists in smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines on your face. Dot your face and neck with the moisturizer and massage it into your skin slowly and in an upward motion until all the moisturizer is fully absorbed.

The four steps above should be done twice daily, in the morning and evening. Aside from this, these additional facial care recommendations should also be followed:

Exfoliating

Exfoliating helps you achieve a radiant-looking skin. This is because exfoliants remove dead skin cells from your face, thus unclogging your pores and allowing a more effective penetration of the facial products you use in your daily facial care regimen. After toning, apply an exfoliant and massage gently into your face and neck in upward circular motions. This will increase blood circulation to your face, hence resulting in a healthy glow. Rinse off properly before moisturizing your face.

Masking

A mask is used in a facial care regimen because of its ability to firm up the skin on your face and neck, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Facial masks come in different forms, such as creams, powders and peel-off versions. After cleansing and toning, wet your face with warm water. Smooth the facial mask carefully onto your face and neck. Do not make any facial movements, like smiling or frowning, while you are waiting for the mask to set. You will feel the skin on your face tightening as the mask dries. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the mask by rinsing it off with warm water or simply peeling it off.

In addition to the four steps above, exfoliating and masking should be done at least once every week as part of your facial care regimen. Continuously following all these steps in facial care keeps your skin soft, smooth and firm, as you age gracefully.

Topic : Skin Care Regimen

I think my blog is more likely to be a beauty blog.
Do more research on skincare stuffs is also a very good thing to do so too. Right?
Oh yeah, I realised my blogging post had been increasing.

Skin care regimen is a general guide for deep cleansing your facial skin - your personal "facial sequence of events". The care you give to your skin depends to a large extent on the type of skin that you have. However, we will discuss the basic skin care principles first. Then we will go into specific skin care regimen recommendations based on your age and skin type. A basic skin care routine requires no more than ten minutes and requires only three simple steps each morning and evening.

CLEANSE
TONE
MOISTURIZE

Follow each step in sequence and allow the recommended time for each step.

Daily Skin Care Regimen

Practicing a skin care regimen is one of the best ways to keep your skin looking its best. If you get in the habit of practicing your skin care regimen daily, you will get the best results and avoid skin problems like acne or dryness.

- Let's understand more about cleanse, tone and moisturize -

CLEANSE:

Cleansing is the cornerstone of an effective skin care regimen. It is important for the long-term health of your skin - reducing bacteria, keeping pore ducts open and exfoliating surface skin cells. If waste is allowed to accumulate, it can block the pores thus blocking the secretion of the glands from coming to the top of the skin providing it the weapons it need to fight against infections, toxic agents etc. In addition, the circulation is stimulated which improves the blood supply to your skin and nourishes it. It also gives a healthy glow to the surface of your skin.

The best way to cleanse your face is the gentlest way; use a rinse-off Cleanser and forget about soap - its pH is too high. A high pH (alkaline) soap will dry the skin and diminish its life expectancy. The skin's surface is mildly acidic, having a pH of around 5. Most soaps are well over 7, and some as high as 10. Soaps with a high pH will not only dry the skin but also eliminate its acid mantle (coating on the surface).

Unlike soaps, Cleansers remove makeup and dirt, but leave the skin feeling silky and supple. Cleansers basically consist of oil, water and surfactants. The oil dissolves the oil on the face; the surfactants dissolve everything else; water washes it all away. The best Cleansers also contain natural botanical extracts to soothe, protect, nourish and moisturize the skin.

Begin by washing your hands first, otherwise you will merely be working additional dirt into the skin. Then, splash your face generously with tepid to slightly warm water. Spread a nickel-sized dollop of Cleanser into your palm or onto a soft cotton washcloth. Using fingertips or washcloth, gently wash face using circular and upward motions. Wash for approximately 30 seconds for Dry skin, 60 seconds for Normal or Combination skin and 90 seconds for Oily skin.

Then rinse, rinse and rinse again with tepid to slightly warm water. Any residue left behind can have a drying affect. It's not too much to splash your face 21 times and drench the sink in the process – your face will thank you for it! Pat (do not rub) face dry with a clean towel. Cleanse face daily in the morning and evening.

TONE:

Toning is the most misunderstood step in most skincare regimens & also the most neglected.

Toners perform 4 very essential acts that no other skin care product on the market can do:

1. A Toner DEEP CLEANSES and purifies your pores, making sure that all pores are totally clear of leftover makeup, cleanser residue, dirt, dead skin cells, waste by-products, toxins and other hazardous elements. A TONER CANNOT CLOSE PORES AS PORES DO NOT HAVE MUSCLES CONTROLLING THEIR OPENING. Pores can only appear smaller, if deep cleansed and there's good collagen/elastin support. It's especially important for clearing the skin of impurities found in tap water. Analyze tap water and you'll discover fluoride, chlorine and sodium which clog the pores and are very dehydrating. If this debris is not removed, you are only forcing it deeper into your pores as your apply moisturizer on top, TRAPPING the debris that can cause bumps, blackheads, enlarged pores, improper absorption of the moisturizer, rough texture and even acne.

2. A Toner BALANCES the pH level or the natural acid mantel that protects your skin from the environment. It can take your skin up to 30 minutes to rebalance itself after cleansing without using a toner because the sebaceous or oil glands are confused - oily skins keep pumping out oil and dry skins stop producing oil.

3. A Toner HYDRATES tissues for proper cell function. Skin can be oil dry and/or moisture dry and the moisture content is more crucial to skin health. A toner is a very NOURISHING form of moisture that even a moisturizer cannot provide. Not too dry, not too wet. Also, the environment is CONSTANTLY ROBBING your skin of hydration, especially during forced heat season and while traveling. This is why we so strongly recommend spritzing with a Toner a few times a day!

4. A Toner assists PENETRATION of Serums and moisturizers which means complete absorption of the potent nutrients in these products. So if you truly are interested in seeing results from your Serum and moisturizer, tone before using them.

A Toner also sets mineral makeup, misting right after application makes a very soft and set makeup. Especially with some of the mineral makeups that can look almost dry, the hydrosols finish off the application with a hydrating setting action that allows the makeup to feel moist without any shine.

How To Tone: After cleansing, spritz your face with Toner to rehydrate, followed by wiping with a toner-saturated cotton pad. Lightly soak a cotton pad with toner and begin cleaning your skin gently, one small section at a time. Never try using the same toner-soaked cotton pad all over the skin in one single try. Start with your forehead, especially at the hairline where it is most neglected during cleansing. After cleaning the forehead, look at the cotton pad, if you see makeup or any other discoloration on the cotton, get new cotton and tone the same section again. REPEAT this step until the cotton comes away perfectly white, free of any residue and pore debris. Then start with the next section. Perform this procedure from the hairline all the way to the neck.

MOISTURIZE:

(Optional for oily skin) Moisturizers are the final component of your skin care regimen. They work by duplicating and strengthening the role of your body's own naturally produced sebum (oil) and thus protect the skin against excessive moisture loss. Sebum emulsifies with sweat (99% water) on the surface of the skin, lubricating the upper layers of the epidermis by softening and plumping out the dry, dead skin cells producing a fine protective layer of oil to render the skin more water-tight.

Moisturizers contain varying proportions of oil, water, herbs, and other natural ingredients. They are used to lubricate, nourish, soothe, protect, and hydrate the skin. Moisturizers should leave the skin feeling supple, soft, and nourished, not clogged or greasy. Be sure to choose a Moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type and condition.

After cleansing and toning, apply a small amount of Moisturizer to your fingertips and massage into the face. Apply your Moisturizer while your skin is still slightly moist. This helps to keep your skin hydrated. All Moisturizers can be made to work more effectively by dampening the skin first, as the top, dead layer of skin will absorb a small amount of water.

In warm weather, store your Moisturizer in the fridge. The chill feels good on your skin and helps it look firmer too. In cool weather, warm your Moisturizer between your hands for a few seconds before you apply it to your face, it will absorb better. Moisturize face daily in the morning and evening for Normal and Dry skin. Oily and Combination skin may only need one daily moisturizing treatment, or none at all (your skin's level of moisture will determine this).

In addition to the above skin care regimen, the following treatments may be performed, depending on your specific needs

SERUMS:

Facial Serums are the strongest products and should be an integral part of EVERYONE'S skin care regimen. They are used to increase skin firmness, elasticity and tone; promote radiance and skin clarity for a luminous complexion; combat free radical damage, helping to prevent signs of aging; and increase the skin's natural moisture resulting in smoother, more even texture.

These potent formulations are hand-blended for targeted skin correction. The formulas are very concentrated, so you'll only need to apply a thin layer to the face and neck. The ingredients in our Serums feed skin powerful vitamins and skin nutrients that help restore skin from sun, free radical, environmental damages, and protect the hydro-lipidic layer to create a comfortable luminescent complexion.

They can be used as spot treatment for eyes, expression lines, or blemishes. They also are fantastic as an area treatment for larger areas to help control and heal the natural aging process, widespread oily T zone, tissue congestion, loss of elasticity with a sagging appearance, or sun damage with age spots and discoloration.

Apply a thin layer of Serum on the face and neck and around the lips and eyes after cleansing and toning. Always follow a Serum application by applying a Moisturizer. Use daily in the morning and evening.

In addition to the above skin care regimen, perform the following treatments once a week

EXFOLIATE:

Exfoliation, while a relatively new addition to the American skin care regimen, has been used for centuries by European and Eastern women. Healthy new skin cells push up from the lowest layer of the epidermis and move toward the surface. Once they reach the surface, the flattened and dried up cells are shed. Those that have been on the surface of the skin too long are grayish and dull in tone. They may flake and can clog the sebaceous (oil producing) pores, leading to superficial spots or blackheads and giving an uneven, patchy look to the face and body.

Showers and baths clean away surface grime, but the dead zone remains as a rough, flaky layer. This layer must be removed by Exfoliating with a Glow. Exfoliation helps to speed up the flaking and shedding process, by taking off the uppermost, dead layer of cells to expose the finer, more translucent tissue underneath.

Once a week, after you cleanse your face, but before toning, take a bit of Glow into the palm of your hand. Wet it and lightly massage it gently around your face. Use the same easy pressure that you would with a washcloth. Don't over scrub, because you need some of those surface cells to protect your skin. Avoid contact with eyes. For further exfoliating effects, allow to remain on skin a minute or two without scrubbing. Rinse off with tepid to slightly warm water or remove with warm, damp face cloth.

MASKS:

Facial Masks are used to deep cleanse, nourish, restore skin tone, increase cell regeneration & moisturize or astringe the skin, depending upon what is needed. Facial Masks are made from a variety of ingredients such as clay, botanicals, fruit extracts, raw honey, oils, seaweed & herbs. They are both naturally humectant (promoting retention of moisture) and emollient (making the skin feel softer and smoother).

After you cleanse your face, but before toning, apply a Facial Mask uniformly over the face, avoiding eye contact. Leave the Mask to do its magic for 10 minutes for dry or sensitive skin, 15 minutes for normal or combination skin or 20 minutes for oily skin. Use a wet, warm washcloth to gently remove the Mask with a circular massaging motion. Facial Masks should be performed once a week for Normal and Dry skin, one-two times per week for Oily and Combination skin.

Performing the above skin care regimen on a regular basis will do wonders for your skin. Cleansing, toning and moisturizing will ensure that your skin is healthy, silky smooth and beautiful for years to come. You may also find additional benefits from performing some of the other steps like Under Eye and Serum treatments or Exfoliation and Facial Masks.

Lastly,

Forming a good skin care regimen early is the key to vibrant, clear skin

Topic : Facial Masks

What is a facial mask?

A facial mask is used to unclog the pores and cleanse the skin of all impurities on the surface of the skin. It also replaces the lost moisture and soothes the skin. Facial masks are one of the oldest known beauty treatments. The ancient Egyptians used mud and clay to remove dead skin cells and heal blemishes. Seventeenth century European women experimented with milk and egg masks. Fresh foods, flowers, and herbs continue to be used to cleanse and nourish the skin as a part of ones skincare regime.

Why should you use a face mask? All face masks come with a cleansing benefit. The regular use of face masks gives the skin a young and radiant look. Facial masks also help to remove dirt, sebum, and dead skin so that the skin looks clean, soft and youthful. Home made natural face masks undoubtedly prove more beneficial than manufactured ones, which contain chemicals and preservatives.

Guide on choosing facial masks

Facial masks are facial skin care products that can help to heal and restore your skin. They help to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. In the process, the skin pores are tightened and the skin appears smoother. Facial skin masks come in different forms. Each of the different types will serve a different purpose. Here are some information on the uses of these different masks. Use the guide below to help you in selecting the appropriate type of masks for your skin type.

Moisturizing Facial Masks

Moisturizing masks are rich facial masks. They will improve the skin's moisture levels. This means that flakiness, dry patches and even fine lines can be removed or reduced. The mask works like a moisturizer but more intensively and quickly. They are an ideal mask to use after sunbathing, or when your skin feels “tight”. Obviously, moisturizing masks are good choices for dry skin.

Mud and Clay Facial Mask

Mud and clay mask is a good choice if you have oily skin. It will help to absorb excess impurities and grease that is on the skin, close up open pores, remove shininess and clear up blemishes.

Using mud mask on oily and acne-prone skin will give definite improvements.

Mud masks are sometimes used for the healing properties of mud from certain regions. Patients with psoriaris (a skin disorder characterised by thick red scaly patches of skin) improve in Dead Sea spas.

Sometimes known as wash-off masks, they contain clay products such as kaolin or bentonite and can dry up the skin. Hence, they are not suitable if you have dry skins.

Exfoliating Facial Masks

Exfoliating masks can be used on any skin type. They have deep cleansing actions and will help to keep your skin in great condition.

Dead cells build-up will make your skin look dull and lead to problems like blackheads. Even normal skins may suffer from the build-up of dead skin cells. Facial masks that exfoliate as it cleanse will help to alleviate this problem.

Peel-Off Facial Masks

Peel-off masks contain polyvinyl alcohol or vinyl acetate. They may come in liquid or gel form. These are applied and peeled off after 15 - 30 minutes. Hence, the name peel-off masks.

Peel-off masks are not very drying and may be used by any skin types.

Peel-off masks is refreshing for areas on the skin by clearing pores that are clogged. It will also help to nourish drier skins.

Gel Facial Masks

Gel masks provide a cooling and soothing effect. It is very soothing after too much sun, or when your skin feels irritated. It is a good choice if you have sensitive skin or very oily complexions.

Beauty Tips

Those of you with a normal skin, can go for a mask, at least once or twice a week. For oily skin, two to three times a week is a great way to keep oil and breakouts at bay. If you have dry skin, a hydrating mask once a week can really help, but keep the deep cleansing varieties for once-a-month treatments.

Additional Notes

Different masks serve different purposes. Examples: Deep cleansing, pore tightening, deep hydrating, whitening, soothing, anti-aging, fight dullness and etc. After usage of masks, your skin will be more clearer, cleaner, fresher, and radiance. For those frequent users, masks will give your skin a healthy glow. So, choose what your skin needs. Thus, a person need many masks to maintain good skin complexion.

Topic : How to Look Good Without Makeup

Sometimes it feels good to go all natural. Here are some secrets to looking pretty without makeup.

Do you long to feel the wind blowing on your naked face? Your completely naked face? Sometimes you need a break from makeup and it feels good to go all natural. Plus, it saves you time when you elect not to wear makeup. Believe it or not, you can still look pretty without makeup. Sometimes natural really is better! Here's how to look good without makeup:

Look good without makeup tip - Practice scrupulous skin care
If you're going to forgo makeup, you need to take the best care of your skin possible. Twice a day cleansing with a mild cleanser followed up by a moisturizer cream designed specifically for your skin type is a good start. An herbal steam facial done at home twice a week will cleanse your pores and give your skin a healthy glow. Follow your skin care regimen religiously to keep your skin in top shape if you plan on going without makeup.

Look good without makeup tip - Exfoliate your skin before you go out
This is one of the best kept secrets for beautiful skin. In the morning before you go out the door, use a facial exfoliating pad and a gentle cleanser to massage your face in circular motions for at least one minute. This will remove dead skin cells and increase circulation to your face, giving your skin a soft glow that's even better than blush.

Look good without makeup tip - Get plenty of rest
If you're going to go natural, it's important that you sleep seven to eight hours a night. Tired skin looks sallow and any bags or dark circles you have under your eyes will be enhanced. If you don't get enough sleep and your eyes look puffy and swollen from tossing and turning, try applying an ice pack to each eye for ten minutes to reduce some of the swelling.

Look good without makeup tip - Drinks lots of water
Your skin looks best when you're well hydrated. Drink at least eight glasses of water per day to maintain skin hydration. Avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine which acts as a diuretic to further dehydrate your skin.

Look good without makeup tip - Wear a sunscreen
Just because you're not wearing makeup doesn't mean you should forgo sunscreen. Many makeups have light sunscreens which offer some protection from the elements. If you're going natural, be sure to apply a sunscreen with a SPF of at least 20 to give your skin the protection it needs from ultraviolet rays. Choose a sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays.

Look good without makeup tip - Keep your eyebrows and eyelashes well groomed
If you won't be wearing eye makeup, make sure your brows are neatly groomed with no distracting stray hairs. Invest in an eyelash curler to open up and emphasize your eyes.

Look good without makeup tip - Keep your lips moisturized.
If you won't be wearing lip color, apply a moisturizer to your lips to keep them soft and smooth. A touch of clear lip gloss can also give you lips and face a natural glow.

Yes, you can look pretty without makeup if you practice good skin care and life style habits on a daily basis. You may actually find that natural works better for you on a daily basis. Give it a try!
